Kuna vile there those times you have embarrassing moments and it can be big or small. I have not been spared either but there is one that definitely stands out and when I think about it manze kuna vile I burst out laughing.
It was one of those days that I was looking all good from my strap heels to the business suit. I was from a major meeting and I was on my way to to church for the midweek service. My place of work is at the outskirts of the CBD and I have to use two mats to fika town now this particular day I was late coming out from the meeting. The service was starting at 1730hrs and the church bus was leaving at 1745hrs. It was already 1740hrs and i was far from the bus stage. Now running in tao and looking sharp does not go well but this time I chose not to care, I had fikad bakers inn and saw the bus was still there then the unexpected happened—a strap from one of my shoes katikad and not just the back one but the front strap and on lifting my leg up the shoe was hanging.I wanted to die there and then.I tried all maneuvers and being a rush our, I contributed a fair amount of amusement. Worse I met with one of my sister’s and she did not spare me either. So I decided to do the worst thing ever and chose not to care.I removed the shoe, crossed the road while running and entered the bus as if nothing happened. The bus steward was wondering if I was ok. I just had to lift the shoe.
But also in the other hand I have learnt that these moments are there for us to learn and appreciate ourselves and others that we are not perfect in any way.
