Agenda: Kaz’s Album Launch and birthday.
The thing was due to start @ 19hrs but it started @ 21hrs. I was quite impressed that there were quite a number of people who were there, actually the place was packed and even missed a packing spot on the inside. The crowd was 80% white and despite the weather, people still danced to her music. Her launch coincided with her birthday so it was a double celebration for her, and with a twist, she gave out gifts to people who have seen her through. Her album comprised of afro-fusion, jazz, poetry and abit of benga.
But the person who stole the show was a certain curtain raiser by the name of Baraza. This man gives Eric wainaina and Henry Kimani a run of their money. He is one person to watch out for. The other curtain raiser was Valerie Kimani who sang a spanish song, something to do with kisses. But all in all it was a good night out.
