My days in high school were sometimes quite disastrous or fun. I learnt a few survival skills while in high school which was right next to a cadet school. I never needed the alarm clock to wake me up when the cadets were on training. The impact of their boots on the tarmac road was loud enough. Anyways there were those times in high school I would just be plain lazy. I did not read when there was no mood. I had a pocket radio and sneaked in snacks during prep. Not that the food in my school was nasty. But just that the ratio was kidogo. I never gained any weight for four years I was in high school.I was size 8 for those four years and oftenly be mistaken for a form one even when i was in 4th.Then there were those days when I would get late for morning prep and I had to pass through a panya hole, chenga the prefect on duty and make sure that the teacher on duty was not around. when you fika the class, it was either you threatened the class prefect ama plead with her.
Now when I look back. I can proudly say that I learnt that alot of things outside the class than I was in class. Like in my work place, you definately know how to chenga the boss when you see him/her coming with work ama feign sickness if you do not want to kwenda for work-and you still get paid.
