Jana I had the opportunity to spend the whole day at one of the army base and it was an experience I would never forget. I have grown up in the circles but never seen how the whole shizzle works. I have this pal of mine, same age as me.

It all started at 0830hrs I was picked up and went straight to the garrison. There I was shown to Madam’s office as she is refered to. She is the paymaster and highly respected. She holds the rank of 1st Lieutenant. Everywhere we went people were just saluting her–others old enough to be her father. This made me realize the kind of power we hold in our hands and how we handle it becuase Gi Jane as she is saved on my phone book does not have any airs at all. She is so down to earth and one person who gets along with kila mtu no matter what rank you hold. Be it an askari ama afande, she treats them with equal respect.

Also it made me think how God created people with various reasons. Thats why I am a computer specialists and not an army Lieutenant. Just to think about it I do not even know if I would have even survived the basic training that goes on for nine months.

So whatever powers/talents/gifts you have at your disposal be sure to handle in a manner that glorifies God.
